Master of Philosophy in Childhood Studies

- About the programme

Are you interested in children’s everyday lives and in childhood as a social and cultural phenomenon? Would you like to know about children’s lives in different parts of the world? What about the changing conditions of childhood in the era of globalisation? If so, the international master’s programme in Childhood Studies might be perfect for you.


MPhil in Childhood Studies aims to provide students with an understanding of the relationship between childhood and culture as well as the dynamics between economic, social and political conditions and children’s livelihoods and welfare in different contexts (family-life, day-care and schools, local communities etc). The programme covers the state of childhood(s) in the western world and in countries in the South. The approach is multi-disciplinary, with particular emphasis on perspectives drawn from disciplines such as anthropology, sociology, geography, and history.

i did it!!

40 countries befor i turned 30:)

i thugth i only had 38, but i just went over them, and i came to my number, 40!!

so i reached my goal!!

sommer og sol

da var sommeren over og høsten er her:)
og høstens nyhet er at jeg har flyttet til Trondheim.
Bartebyen i nord... 


Men tilbake til sommeren!!

En super sommer, uten mye arbeid.

Sommeren har bydd på godvær på sørlandet og det har vært fantatsik vær.
sjøen har vært litt vill, emn har nå fått kommet meg på sjøen et par ganger!!
tre utenlandsreiser ble det au:
Italia, Kypros, Kosovo og Albania.

Kypros var med jobben og var en avslappende tur, under ne parasol med godt lesestoff.

De 3 andre landene ble opplevd sammen med min gode venninne Lendita.
Italia var en bra tur med mye god mat og vin. og seff opplevelser.

Kosovo var fantatsik. Det å være i et land hvor ikke turistene strømmer rundt...et land med mye historie, et land med et serdeles hyggelig folkelsag.
Et land hvor jeg følte meg som en gjest og var en gjest i en lokal familie.
Et land som bøy på fantatsik naturopplevelser og mye morro sammen med Søskene Berisha.
